A little bit of Chile

 Today i will write about a place in Chile that i would love to visit again and i'm sure i'll do, this is Algarrobo, i'ts placed in the Región de Valparaíso, in the well knowed litoral central, the last time i went was about 1 month ago, im sure i will return because there is one of my best friend's house so with two more friends we always go in weekends and enjoy the days in family, because they with my friend's family are like my second family. 

We always go in car, sometimes drives him and sometimes me, we both worked together in his pyme driving and carrying trucks full of things to a enterprise, so we trust in the other with our souls and can be relaxed.

We always enjoy the days, playing, making food, or going to a rooftop we like, there is no day where we don't do karting or play some tennis, i love that because is already like a tradition in our visits.

I enjoy not because all the things we do, i enjoy this because all the feelings i experience every time i'm there, when i am talking with my friends, laughing, with a wine glass in hand i feel loved.

This pic was taken by one of our 4-friend group Pancho, we were returning home carrying Juanito who was killed by 4 rounds of tequila in the rooftop hahahaha, me (the one in the right) and my friend Lukas (the one in the left) are good because we drink recurrently and are strong dealing with the alcohol, but he's not an habitual drinker. The shots were really big, i think they confused shots with schops (did you catch the joke?), i attach evidence below, to take reference the lemons were normal size, not pica💀.

A family member or a relative

 Today i´m gonna talk about my most loved and important family member, my little sister Isi, she born when i was 8 years old and today she is 15 years old, she is obviusly student and dont know already what want to do with her life but i will help her in anything she want, loves to make tiktoks and burgers. 

When she was about 3 years old i have an accident, and she was the one who find me in the spot where i was literally dying  haha, the doctor said that if i was there 15 more seconds i will not be here today.

She is jolly and smiley, smart and has good sense of humour, like to talk to all the people and take photos of all kind of things her included.

 Since she was a newborn we has a really good relationship, i take care of her and share time together, i comb and make her hairstyles, today i still combing her hair when im free and i like to do it always she ask me to do it.

Today we still being good friends, sending each other lots of tiktoks and playing with our dog Gaspi and i hope that never changes.

Language

 As a boy who born in the 2000 i grew up seeing classic series in the chilean tv, like Pokémon, Slam Dunk, etc, so i entered to the world of the anime and games when i was very young, my first game was Pokémon Red Fire in english so i have to try understand what the characters was telling me without knowing a bit of the language, and then, i passed my first game at the age of 7 in english.

I found easy the way of create the sentences, and i could make them correctly without studied the grammar rules before, so my nemesis is study the rules of the languaje because sometimes is very different in comparison to Spanish.

Out of class i practice my vocabulary almost every time because the online content that i consume is mainly in english, streamings and all the games or series i play and see, i put them on english, its a very comfortable way to me.

In our classes i really love all the dinamics and activities we have, its a very ludic way to learn and practice this language, my favorite part are the monday games when i can talk with the teacher because in my daily life i have no one to talk in english in person.

I think english is ultra useful, for obvius reasons like is the most universal language, no matter if you are in China or France there will be always someone who can speak english so its very relieving knowing that.

The english culture its interesting for me in the aspects of history and the way they built city, but in others aspects is not, just for personal prefferences i think there are places much more beautiful in other cultures.

My Cultural Radar (Part 2)

 1. Anime

I´ll just start with one of my favorite things in the world, One Piece, this is a manga and anime serie who is present in the industry since 1997, i follow this anime since 2010 less or more, narrates the tale of the strawhats pirates who are following their dreams like a family and surpassing all the problems that come their way, some people have the idea that this is a very basic anime but touch topics like, slavery, political disputes, discrimination, explotation, and more. I really love One Piece.

2. Food

The completos are a part of me, completos are a very chilean food and a way of life, can be eaten at any hour of the day and there are so many types of completo, you can put what you want and make a beautiful and delicious piece of art.

3. Game

I love games in general, since i was very young like 4 years old, and one of the first games i played was the Fire Red version of pokémon, but the game that i played more times is the one in the image, the emerald edition, is just a piece of art, old pokemon games is like play a programming program so you can do very crazy things and there are very very specific glitches who people are still discovering nowadays.

4. Book

I love Novels and Treasure island by R.L Stevenson is one of my favorite books, i think that i was an adventurer in some past life because i will really like to die in a very brave way. this book talks about pirates and inspired a lot of movies, series and games.

5. Band

Japan culture is something really interesting for me, his history, wars and pop culture hits me hard and my favorite music band from japan is L'Arc-en-ciel, they made INCREDIBLE songs and are present in a lot of openings and endings of animes that are a must see like Great Teacher Onizuka, ART.

6. City

My favorite city in Chile today is Valparaíso, i lived here a couple of years and was a beatiful experience, waking up is something really hard for me but in Valparaíso you can see the sea and boats, his climate and air was a really appreciated thing.

My Cultural Radar (Part 1)

     I´ve read the Will Poulter's "On my radar" because he's an actor who acted in movies that i love like The Chronicles of Narnia and The Maze Runner, he also has a meme from a frame of a movie haha.

In the article he talks about cultural aspects like tastes and preferences in 6 main topics that are: Album, Novel, Food, TV, Comedy and fashion.

I found most interesting the food and comedy becasuse i love food and i think that what makes people laugh says a lot of them.

Food was interesting to read because we can think that a very famous actor will eat some fancy things but really not everyone do that always, and Will Poulter's favorite food is from a hall in New Oxford Street. Comedy has my attetion because i love good comedies, i see podcast everyweek and enjoy a good round of espontaneous jokes.

A Festival, Exhibition or Show You Saw

In my life, i don´t have so many opportunities to go or visit big shows or exhibitions, but i have about 6 that i remember very warmly, one of these was the presentation of "Los Angeles Negros" in the main square of Llolleo, it was a really planificated event so a lot of people knew that they was going to play their songs that saturday of january in 2017. 

I went with a friend and her grandma. Since i was very young i enjoyed very different type of music so i was really happy singing surrounded by all that ladies haha, i really like Llolleo and the central coast in general because the beach, the air and the chill vibes that brings to me, so this event was such an experience in my opinion.

The main square is the most centric and urban place in Llolleo who already is very small so all the comerce concentrates here and obviusly, with this event a lot of people who sells candies, popcorn, and all kind of food arrives to the presentation, so i ate all i wanted and went house with my friend, her grandma and her friends to finish the day with tea and conversations until going bed.

    My name is Mario, I´m 23 years old and geography student, my favourite colors are red/orange and my bloodtype is [INSERT BLOOD TYPE], i live in Santiago since i was born, specifically in Estación Central, i studied in a small but big hearted school in Quinta Normal and now i´m an university student, the first of my family.
